In this workshop we will look at several poems by well-known poets that bear witness to the difficulties and simple beauties of our daily lives. We will talk about the different ways of being careful observers and discuss strategies for writing about the things we see and do everyday to give them vibrancy and power. Through a guided writing exercise, we'll have the opportunity to play at bearing witness to some aspect of our own daily experience.
